gabonart.com: a site to serve the conservation, protection and promotion of the Gabonese natural and artistic heritage
Gabonart.com translates the commitment of El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba, President of the Republic of Gabon and his government in favour of a very active policy of conservation, protection and promotion of the Gabonese heritage. Today's new technologies enable us to achieve these targets by bringing together all this wealth and sharing it in a very new and original manner with the whole worldwide community on the net. Two projects have thus been realized: the Virtual Museum of Gabonese Arts and Traditions and the Travel Notebook – Destination Gabon News: The Albert Schweitzer hospital, a major Gabonese tourist attraction. 
The people of Gabon are united in hoping to see the Albert Schweitzer, in Lambaréné, become a UNESCO world heritage site. For 90 years, men and women have been providing care and education and building facilities together. >> Read article |
