Destination Gabon

Still looking for a holiday destination?
...Gabon, an unspoilt country with extraordinary fauna and flora, a wealth of artistic cultures, and skilfully preserved authenticity, invites you!

Take part in the festivities on 17th August in the regions of Ngounié and the Nyanga

On 17th August, Gabon is celebrating the 48th anniversary of its Independence, to which it acceded on 17th August 1960, after belonging to the Federation of French Equatorial Africa from 1910 to 1958. This year, the festivities will take place in Mouila in Ngounié and Tchibanga in Nyanga.

These fêtes are an occasion to watch a civilian and military parade, fireworks, cultural events, the inauguration of buildings, etc.

These revolving celebrations are aimed at giving a boost to the entire country. Each year, two provinces benefit from State financial assistance for the building of infrastructure, roads, public buildings, etc., which makes it possible to attract foreign investors, thereby creating jobs and diversifying the country’s economy.

To prepare your trip to Gabon and explore the areas of Ngounié and Nyanga: >> In the “Tourism” section, you will find a real tourist guide with links, information and addresses essential for your preparations and tourist sites to help you organise your trip. The “National Parks” section will plunge you into the heart of our 13 national parks.
