President Ali Bongo Ondimba extended his New Year’s greetings to the Nation, on 31 December. 2010 will be a year conducive to investment. In fact, in 2010, the head of state’s project for society, aimed at an emerging Gabon, will be achieved through a policy of massive support for the national economy, the better to meet the expectations of the population, in particular in the domains of roads, health, education, housing, agriculture, urban transport, energy, sanitation, and urban road systems. The budget devoted to investment in 2010 will be tripled to 900 billion CFA Francs, representing 42% of the country’s global budget.
