President’s visit to the 4th TICAD summit in Yokohama

From 28 to 30 May 2008, the Gabonese Head of State took part in the 4th TICAD summit, a conference focusing on development in Africa. 42 Heads of state and government came together, along with representatives from African countries, international and regional organisations and international economic institutions.

The various discussions held will help to dynamise, strengthen and develop cooperative relationships and to diversify the Gabonese economy.

A new Gabonese Ambassador to France
The new Gabonese ambassador to France will be a woman. The current ambassador, M. Jean-Marie Adzé will be replaced by Mrs Félicité Ongouori Ngoubili.
